The Municipal Port Fund of Aigialeia proceeded with the repair and maintenance of the exercise equipment located in the port zone of Aigio, under the Old Port Authority, during the summer, covering the corresponding expense to restore the equipment that had suffered damage from use and humidity at the location in question, which receives significant daily traffic.
"The maintenance of the fitness equipment is part of a more general beautification plan for the land port area, as, among other things, the Municipal Port Fund of Aigialeia plans the maintenance of the lighting fixtures on Aigiale beach that are located within its jurisdiction, as well as the replacement of paving stones where necessary," notes the president, Mr. Andreas Economou, in his statements.
Also, the coastal zone upgrade plan includes the restoration and reopening of the Twelve Fountains and the beautification of the surrounding area, with the aim of highlighting this emblematic point.
