The Kalymnos D.L.T. is a Legal Entity of Public Law based in the Municipality of Kalymnos and has responsibilities in the land zone of the port of Kalymnos where the central port is located and the assimilated land area of ​​"Melitsacha" on the island of Kalymnos where we have the fishing shelter.

The Municipal Port Fund of Kalymnos is responsible for the installation, organization and exploitation of all types of port infrastructure. It offers public utility services and contributes to commercial, passenger, tourist and fishing traffic and more generally to the smooth operation of the ports under its jurisdiction.

PORT – POTHIA
It has a large port in the Pothia area which has the following:
a) Central pier, 580m long. where ships that connect Kalymnos with Piraeus and the surrounding islands arrive. It has a passport control room since we are an entry-exit gate.
b) Prosimeno pier, 740m long, on which a 320m long breakwater is being developed to protect the port.
c) Leeward pier, 240m long.
d) Coastal quays, 1.365m long, which extend around the perimeter of the port.
