Municipal Port Fund of Lemnos (M.P.F. of Lemnos)

The Municipal Port Fund of Limnos is the Legal Entity responsible for the management of ports and fishing vessel shelters.

The Municipal Port Fund of Limnos is called upon to offer public utility services and contribute to the economic development of the Island and the country.

The ferry connection between Lemnos and mainland Greece is made from the port of Myrina and is served by regular ferry routes throughout the year. The routes are operated by conventional ferries that transport passengers and vehicles from Piraeus - Lemnos, Lavrio - Lemnos, Kavala - Lemnos.

There is also a direct ferry connection with the following ports: Ai Stratis, Lesvos, Ikaria (Agios Kirikos, Evdilos), Mykonos, Oinousses, Samos (Vathi, Karlovasi), Syros, Fournoi, Chios.

The port of Lemnos...

The port of Myrina in Lemnos is the main gateway to the island and its liveliest point. It is from here that most of the ferry routes depart, connecting Lemnos with mainland Greece. It is located in the center of the capital and spreads out under the impressive Venetian castle, creating a beautiful image where fishing boats, cafes and traditional houses coexist harmoniously.
