Igoumenitsa Port Authority (IGOA)

The Port of Igoumenitsa Authority primarily provides passenger and vehicle traffic services and ship docking services.

The port is mainly passenger, with ferry connections both domestically and internationally.

Given the lack of both storage spaces (SEMPO – Container Terminal, Silos) and suitable port infrastructure, no goods are transported, except for those transported in trucks and trailers, as well as certain bulk cargoes.

Igoumenitsa Port Authority

The Port Authority of Igoumenitsa, is responsible for the management of the land area of the Port, the maintenance and improvement of its building and technical installations as well as its smooth operation. At the same time, it leases to private individuals shops and offices within the terminal as well as outdoor areas in accordance with the concession agreement signed between OLEG S.A. and the Greek State. It also cooperates with the users of the port, local bodies and local government bodies of the first and second tier on issues concerning the city and the wider region.

The Organization's secondary activities include commercial activities (rental of port areas and buildings for commercial activities) and various port facilities (use of weighbridges and use of electrical installations).
