The Port of Patras S.A. had the pleasure of welcoming on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 students and teachers of the 14th Primary School of Patras, as part of an educational excursion and introduction to the facilities and operation of the Port of Patras.
During the visit, the students were given a tour of the South and North Ports, as well as the Kanellopoulos Passenger Terminal, where they were informed about the importance of the port in the local economy, shipping, transport and the connection of Patras with Greece and abroad.
As part of the educational activity, a visit was also made to business facilities within the port, where the students had the opportunity to learn about aspects of the daily operation and activities of businesses related to the port and transport sector.
The Port of Patras Organization remains firmly committed to supporting educational and social activities, placing particular emphasis on informing and raising awareness among the younger generation about the operation and importance of the port of Patras. Through corresponding visits and activities, the aim is to connect students with the maritime and commercial environment of the city, as well as to highlight the role of the port as a key pillar of development, extroversion and communication of the wider region.
