CORFU PORT AUTHORITY S.A. congratulates the Director of Development & Technical Services and Cruise Manager of OLKE, Aris Batsoulis, on assuming the position of President of MedCruise.
His distinction is an honor not only for our Organization, not only for Corfu, but for all of Greece as MedCruise, which is the Association of Cruise Ports of the Mediterranean, the Near Atlantic, the Black and the Red Seas, lists 140 ports from 21 countries and is the largest association of cruise ports in the world.
OLKE is confident of the success of its work and of its contribution from its new position to the faster recovery of the cruise industry, which was so affected by the unprecedented conditions we are experiencing worldwide, leveraging the prestige that MedCruise has in the cruise sector and the cooperation that it has already developed with other associations and organizations such as the European Ports Organization (ESPO), the Hellenic Ports Association (E.LIM.E.E), the International Cruise Lines Association (CLIA), the International Maritime Organization (IMO), the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO), the World Health Organization (WHO), etc.
