Thessaloniki, June 19, 2026

ThPA S.A. is among the first 41 companies in Greece to receive the Diversity Label, which is awarded by the Ministry of Social Cohesion and Family within the framework of the National Strategy for Equality and the Fight against Discrimination. This is an important initiative that highlights companies that implement policies and practices that promote diversity, equality and inclusion in the workplace.

This distinction is a recognition of the company's ongoing effort to create a working environment where every person has the opportunity to develop, contribute and feel like they belong.

"The awarding of the Diversity Label to the Thessaloniki Port Authority is recognition of an effort that is of great importance: to make inclusion part of the daily operation of a business. A modern workplace is not only evaluated by its financial results, but also by the way it treats its people, creates equal opportunities, respects diversity and prevents exclusion and discrimination. The Label is not a formal distinction. It is the result of a specific evaluation process and rewards businesses that show in practice that equality and inclusion can become a permanent part of the work culture," said the Minister of Social Cohesion and Family, Ms. Domna Michaelidou.

"The human wealth of the Port of Thessaloniki is behind every aspect of our activity and the company's strong operational and financial results. The value we create as an organization is produced by people with different characteristics and skills and returns to society, that is, back to the people, through a culture that understands the role of the port as a pillar of development for the entire wider region and its residents," said the Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of ThPA S.A., Ms. Angeliki Samara.

As one of the most important pillars of development of Thessaloniki and Northern Greece, with more than 550 employees, ThPA S.A. systematically invests in the formation of a corporate culture based on respect, mutual trust and equal opportunities for all. Recognizing that the diversity of its people is a key factor in progress, the company implements policies and actions that enhance the participation, cooperation and utilization of the potential of each employee.

This specific distinction confirms the path followed by the Organization in recent years and reinforces its commitment to continue investing in a modern and inclusive working environment, worthy of the expectations of its people and the challenges of the modern era. For ThPA S.A., diversity is not just a corporate value, but a source of strength, creativity and development, contributing to the formation of an environment where everyone can grow and succeed together.
